The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Minsk: Minsk-2006 II (#6) and BGUIR-RTI (#4). Minsk-2006 II (9-14) won against visiting BGUIR-RTI (9-14) 77-66. The hosts trailed by 5 points at the halftime before their 46-30 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Minsk-2006 II forced 20 BGUIR-RTI turnovers and outrebounded them 50-37 including a 41-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Minsk-2006 II is looking forward to face league's second-placed Grodno-93 on the road in the next round and it may be the game of the week. BGUIR-RTI will play against SBK Osipovichi and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
