Regular Season Round 27: TU/Rock - TTU 84-75

Rather predictable result when first ranked Tartu Ulikool (25-3) defeated at home 5th ranked TTU (12-16) 84-75 on Tuesday. TTU trailed by 13 points after 3 quarters before a 22-18 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 75-84 at the end of the game. It was a great evening for the former international guard Silver Leppik (188-83) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points. International power forward Rain Raadik (208-89) helped adding 11 points and 9 rebounds. Tartu Ulikool's coach Gert Kullamae used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was forward Illimar Pilk (195-88) with 12 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists (went 12 for 12 at the free throw line !!!) and the former international power forward Kristjan Makke (205-81, college: W.Illinois) scored 12 points and 9 rebounds. Four Tartu Ulikool and five TTU players scored in double figures. Tartu Ulikool have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 25-3 record. TTU at the other side keeps the fifth position with 16 games lost.
