The game without a history. Hannover Tigers led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to SG Schwelmer Baskets' 36. Hannover Tigers forced 22 SG Schwelmer Baskets turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for Canadian forward Jacob Doerksen (200-87, agency: Interperformances) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 11 rebounds. Swingman Jan-Peter Prasuhn (198-82) helped adding 15 points and 8 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American guard Jason Holmes (191-86, college: Le Moyne) with 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import forward Alexander Starr (196-84, college: Centenary) scored 10 points and 6 rebounds. Five Hannover Tigers and four SG Schwelmer Baskets players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
