Regular Season Round 33: Anagni - Pall.Trento 58-72

Rather predictable result when second ranked Trento (23-10) defeated on the road 6th ranked Anagni (14-19) 72-58 on Thursday. The game was mostly controlled by Trento. Anagni was better in third quarter 17-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Center Marco Pazzi (203-79) stepped up and scored 13 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and forward Davide Pascolo (200-90) chipped in 9 points and 10 rebounds. The best for the losing side was forward Jacopo Pozzi (200-87, agency: Two Points) with 19 points and 6 rebounds and naturalized Argentinian center Diego Corral (205-86, agency: Players Group) scored 12 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Trento have a solid series of three victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Trieste. Loser Anagni dropped to the fourth place with 19 games lost. Trento will face league's leader Napoli at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Anagni will play against Pavia and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
