There was no surprise in Azpeitia where 10th ranked Feve Oviedo (6-15) was defeated by eighth ranked Lan Mobel ISB (12-9) 82-78. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 31-25. But Feve Oviedo won second period 23-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was an exceptional evening for Nigerian power forward Olasumbo Atoyebi (203-88, college: Elon) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 15 rebounds. American-French guard Alfredo Ott (193-83, college: Dillard) accounted for 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Four Lan Mobel ISB players scored in double figures. Lan Mobel ISB's coach Iurgi Caminos allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Power forward David Ortega (199-84) came up with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and forward Hector Macia (198-77) added 20 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Feve Oviedo in the defeat. Lan Mobel ISB have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Barca Regal II and Coruna. Feve Oviedo lost third consecutive game. Feve Oviedo at the other side keeps the tenth position with 15 games lost. Lan Mobel ISB's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked Plasencia Extremadura (#13) on the road and are hoping to win another game. Feve Oviedo will play against Las Rozas.
