Regular Season Round 12: Dacin Tigers - Pure Youth 75-84

An exciting game was when first ranked First ranked Pure Youth faced 3rd ranked Dacin Tigers. Pure Youth (21-6) defeated Dacin Tigers (15-12) 84-75. Pure Youth took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Dacin Tigers won third quarter 17-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The winners were led by international swingman Chia-En Mao (195-82) who scored that evening 17 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and international forward Douglas Creighton (195-85) supported him with 19 points and 7 rebounds. Four Pure Youth players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 25 points, 16 rebounds and 5 blocks by Belizean-American power forward Noel Felix (205-81, college: Fresno St.) did not help to save the game for Dacin Tigers. The former international forward Lei Tien (203-83) added 14 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Pure Youth have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 21-6 record. Dacin Tigers at the other side keep the third place with 12 games lost. Pure Youth's next round opponent will be KKL (#5). Dacin Tigers will play against Bank of Taiwan.
