The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Start Gdynia (21-7) on the court of tenth ranked AZS Szczecin on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by AZS Szczecin 76-70. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Start Gdynia. Start Gdynia trailed by 11 points after 3 quarters before a 22-17 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 70-76 at the end of the game. AZS Szczecin forced 20 Start Gdynia turnovers. It was a good game for guard Lukasz Pacocha (182-82) who led his team to a victory with 20 points and 5 assists. Swingman Krzysztof Mielczarek (198-81) contributed with 6 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winners. AZS Szczecin's coach Zbigniew Majcherek used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
