Semi-Finals Game 1: Gotha - Herten Lions 98-75

The game was mostly controlled by Oettinger Rockets Gotha. Hertener Loewen managed to win fourth quarter 18-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Oettinger Rockets Gotha looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Hertener Loewen's players. American swingman Marcus Monk (198-86, college: Arkansas, agency: The House of Baller!Stars) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 11 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winners and guard David Watson (185-88) chipped in 17 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Four Oettinger Rockets Gotha players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard Zamal Nixon (185-89, college: Houston) responded with 29 points (made all of his fourteen free throws !!!) and power forward Christoph Hackenesch (204-86) scored 16 points and 8 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
