Very expected game in Lagadas where 10th ranked Ermis Lagkada (12-13) was defeated by fifth ranked AEK (15-10) 73-57 on Saturday. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Forward Vaggelis Sklavos (202-77) fired a double-double by scoring 15 points and 18 rebounds for the winners. Guard Antonis Mantzaris (196-86) chipped in 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Five AEK players scored in double figures. The former international guard Savvas Iliadis (192-79) produced 13 points and 6 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) and guard Spyros Kekelis (181-80) added 14 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. AEK moved-up to third place, which they share with Nea Kifisia and Ikaroi Serron. Loser Ermis Lagkada keeps the tenth position with 13 games lost. AEK will face bottom-ranked AEK/Argous (#16) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Ermis Lagkada will play against the league's leader Panelefsiniakos (#1) in Eleusina.
