Very predictable result in Malaga where ninth ranked CB Clavijo (16-14) smashed bottom-ranked Clinicas Rincon (5-25) 82-59. Clinicas Rincon was ahead by 1 point at the halftime before a 49-25 second half run of CB Clavijo. It was a good game for American point guard Mathew Witt (183-84, college: E.Kentucky) who led his team to a victory with 17 points. Guard Enrique Suarez (185-83) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Center Maodo Nguirane (210-93) replied with 14 points and Bosnian center Ognen Kuzmin (215-90) added 6 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Clinicas Rincon. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted CB Clavijo maintains ninth position with 16-14 record. Clinicas Rincon at the other side stay dead last with 25 lost games. CB Clavijo's next round opponent will be Basquet Mallorca (#14) at home where they are favorite. Clinicas Rincon will play against Girona FC (#13).
