Worth to mention about the upset in a game between Dunkerque (9-13) and Reims (8-15), which took place in Reims. Higher ranked Dunkerque was outleveled in a road game by twelfth ranked Reims 99-77 on Saturday. The game without a history. Reims led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a very good performance for guard Anais Jomby (168-86) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 5 assists. Forward Jenny Fouasseau (179-92) contributed with 22 points and 6 assists for the winners. Four Reims players scored in double figures. Reims' coach Arnaud Ricoux felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Latvian power forward Dace Brumermane (187-81, agency: Josep and Nicolas) replied with a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds and Ukrainian center Taisiia Bovykina (190-89, agency: LBM Management) added 16 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Dunkerque. Reims moved-up to eleventh place. Dunkerque lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 13 games lost. Reims will face higher ranked Etoile de Voiron (#6) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
