Very important is a road loss of second ranked Osaka Evessa (29-14) against seventh ranked Miyazaki Shining Suns (20-23) on Saturday night. Visiting Osaka Evessa was crushed by Miyazaki Shining Suns in Miyazaki 83-61. The game without a history. Miyazaki Shining Suns led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Osaka Evessa's 28. They outrebounded Osaka Evessa 55-35 including a 41-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. American center Darryl Dora (206-85, college: Texas Tech) fired a double-double by scoring 22 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. His fellow American import swingman Dexter Lyons (198-81, college: Cent.Florida, agency: I.D.S. Law) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Miyazaki Shining Suns players scored in double figures. Miyazaki Shining Suns' coach felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. American forward Michael Bell (206-82, college: Florida Atlantic) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 15 rebounds (made all of his twelve free throws !!!) and Haitian-American swingman Bobby St.Preux (196-80, college: N.Kentucky, agency: KMG Sports Management) added 11 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side.
