An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Barcelona. First ranked Regal FC Barcelona faced 4th placed Valencia Basket. Host Regal FC Barcelona (22-5) defeated guests from Valencia (15-12) 76-72. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Valencia Basket. It looked good early as Valencia Basket took an 6-point lead at the end of first quarter. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Regal FC Barcelona have a solid series of three victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 22-5 record. Valencia Basket at the other side dropped to the fifth position with 12 games lost. They share it with Gescrap BB and Lucentum. Regal FC Barcelona will play against CAI Zaragoza (#10) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Valencia Basket will play against FIATC Joventut (#11) in Badalona and hopes to get back on the winning track.
