Regular Season Round 12: Bank of Taiwan - Taiwan Mobile 76-71

Bottom-ranked Bank of Taiwan managed to get a fifth victory, breaking the three-game losing streak on Sunday night. This time they won against fifth-ranked Taiwan Mobile 76-71. Taiwan Mobile trailed by 11 points after 3 quarters before a 17-11 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 71-76 at the end of the game. It was a great shooting night for Bank of Taiwan especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. The best player for the winners was international forward Shun-Hsiang Chen (190-85) who scored 19 points and 8 assists (perfect from downtown making all five shots). The former international forward Chih-Chiang Hsu (194-82) chipped in 22 points and 5 rebounds. Bank of Taiwan's coach Liang-Chung Lai used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was Canadian power forward Ryan Wright (206-87, college: Oklahoma) who recorded a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) and Yu-Lin Chang (190-86) added 13 points respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Bank of Taiwan maintains seventh position with 5-21 record. Taiwan Mobile lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth place with 16 games lost. Bank of Taiwan will face higher ranked Yulon Luxgen (#4) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
