The game was mostly controlled by Neftochimic. Slavia managed to win fourth quarter 20-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. Neftochimic outrebounded Slavia 43-31 including 29 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Slavia's players. It was a good game for Ukrainian guard Olga Dubrovina (170-87, agency: LBM Management) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 6 rebounds and 11 assists. Ukrainian forward Katerina Dorogobuzova (187-90, agency: LBM Management) contributed with 29 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Neftochimic players scored in double figures. Neftochimic's coach Peter Marinov felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Zornitsa Naydenova (172-89) answered with 22 points and guard Stefka Nikolova (173-90) added 12 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Slavia.
