The most exciting game of round 23 in the Premier League took place in Galil. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of second-ranked Galil Gilboa (14-7) to fifth ranked Hapoel J-M (12-9) 69-67 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Galil Gilboa. The guests trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 33-28 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was guard D.J. Strawberry (196-85, college: Maryland) who scored 28 points and 7 rebounds. Hapoel J-M is looking forward to face higher ranked Maccabi Rishon (#3) in Rishon Le-Zion in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Galil Gilboa will play on the road against the league's leader Maccabi T-A in Tel-Aviv and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
