Everything went according to plan when second ranked Saint-Quentin (22-7) defeated at home 11th ranked Angers BC 49 (14-15) 88-79. Angers BC 49 was ahead by 1 point after three quarters before a 25-15 charge of Saint-Quentin, which allowed them to win the game. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Angers BC 49's 36. The best player for the winners was forward Julien Lesieu (199-83) who scored 20 points and 7 rebounds.
