There was a surprise result when thirteenth ranked Hapoel Kfar Saba (8-17) defeated on the road higher ranked Ironi Ramat Gan (11-14) 95-83 on Tuesday. The guests trailed by 5 points at the halftime before their 53-36 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Hapoel Kfar Saba made 23-of-28 free shots (82.1 percent) during the game. Ironi Ramat Gan was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. American guard Errick McCollum (185-88, college: Goshen, agency: Gross Zeev ISA) stepped up and scored 27 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and forward Eitan Rotemberg (197-91) chipped in 21 points and 6 rebounds.
