Regular Season Round 29: Clermont - Montbrison 69-84

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 15th ranked Stade Clermont (8-21) lost at home to sixteenth ranked Montbrison (6-23) 84-69. The game was mostly controlled by Montbrison. Stade Clermont was better in fourth quarter 25-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Stade Clermont 42-31 including 29 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was guard Benjamin Tillon (189-85) who scored 19 points and 8 assists. Forward Regis Aubry (199-82) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds. Four Montbrison players scored in double figures. Montbrison's coach Marc Berjoan allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games.
