Very expected game when 12th ranked NSH GMC Riau (1-29) was crushed at home by fourth ranked Garuda (24-7) 73-33. The game without a history. Garuda led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding NSH GMC Riau to just 5 points in first quarter and to 12 points in first half. Garuda held NSH GMC Riau to an opponent 24.4 percent shooting from the field compared to 41.4 percent accuracy of the winners. Garuda forced 27 NSH GMC Riau turnovers and outrebounded them 47-23 including a 20-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Nico Fritzgerald (186-81) notched 12 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and guard Hendru Ramli (188-88) supported him with 16 points.
