Semi-Finals Game 1: Fenerbahce - Mersin 92-67

The game was mostly controlled by Fenerbahce. Mersin managed to win fourth quarter 22-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Fenerbahce dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Mersin's 44. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. Forward Angel McCoughtry (185-86, college: Louisville) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and guard Cappie Pondexter (175-83, college: Rutgers) chipped in 20 points and 5 assists. Four Fenerbahce players scored in double figures. Fenerbahce's coach Georgios Dikeoulakos felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side forward LaToya Thomas (188-81, college: Mississippi St., agency: Ronsport) responded with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Shavonte Zellous (178-86, college: Pittsburgh) scored 17 points.
