The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 18-12. But Gloria Giants won second period 13-11. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American point guard Gary Johnson (188-82, college: Cent.Florida) fired 19 points, 6 assists and 8 steals for the winners. Japanese point guard Takumi Ishizaki (188-84) chipped in 26 points (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Estonian forward Rait Keerles (201-80) produced 18 points and 5 rebounds and naturalized Croatian guard Marin Petric (190-80) added 17 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Gloria Giants' coach rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help.
