Webmoebel Baskets were trailing by 10 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 35-16 charge of Crailsheim Merlins, which allowed them to win the game. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Webmoebel Baskets' 38. American guard Mark Hill (180, college: CS Northridge) fired 17 points and 6 assists for the winners. His fellow American import forward Darryl Webb (198-88, college: Indiana, PA, agency: Pro One Sports) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds.
