We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when fifth ranked Polpharma (14-20) won against 4th placed Siarka Jezioro (15-20) in Tarnobrzeg 100-90. It looked good early as Siarka Jezioro took an 2-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Polpharma had a 35-22 second period charge getting the lead and Siarka Jezioro was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 90-100. American players dominated the game. Guard Brandon Hazzard (188-87, college: Troy) fired 28 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Forward Jeremy Simmons (203-89, college: Charleston, agency: Interperformances) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds. Polpharma's coach Wojciech Kaminski allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. point guard Josh Miller (169, college: W.Virginia St., agency: Hart Sports Mngm) produced 21 points and 4 assists and forward Nicchaeus Doaks (202-87, college: Chattanooga, agency: Hart Sports Mngm) added 15 points and 11 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Polpharma have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain fifth place in Group B with 14-20 record. Siarka Jezioro at the other side keeps the fourth position with 20 games lost. Polpharma's next round opponent will be league's leader Slask Wroclaw at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Siarka Jezioro will play against LKS Sphinx in Lodz.
