No shocking result in a game when third ranked Dacin Tigers (16-13) beat 6th ranked Taiwan Mobile (12-17) 84-72 on Friday. Dacin Tigers trailed by 5 points after three quarters before their 28-11 charge, which allowed them to win the game. They made 24-of-31 free shots (77.4 percent) during the game. Quite impressive performance for Belizean-American power forward Noel Felix (205-81, college: Fresno St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds. The former international forward Yi-Hui Lin (192-86) contributed with 18 points for the winners. Dacin Tigers' coach Ta-Tsung Chiu used entire bench and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Canadian power forward Ryan Wright (206-87, college: Oklahoma) answered with 25 points and 7 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) and guard Jing-Huan Chen (190-86) added 17 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Taiwan Mobile. Dacin Tigers maintains third place with 16-13 record having five points less than leader Pure Youth. Loser Taiwan Mobile keeps the sixth position with 17 games lost. Dacin Tigers will face Yulon Luxgen (#4) in the next round. Taiwan Mobile will play against KKL and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
