Rather predictable result when fourth ranked Kyoto Hannar. (29-16) beat at home 7th ranked Miyazaki Shining Suns (20-25) 98-91 on Saturday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Miyazaki Shining Suns won fourth quarter 32-29. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Kyoto Hannar. dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Miyazaki Shining Suns' 36. They outrebounded Miyazaki Shining Suns 41-20 including a 15-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. Kyoto Hannar. looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists.
