Regular Season Round 13: Yulon Luxgen - Taiwan Mobile 56-88

There was a small surprise when sixth ranked Taiwan Mobile (12-17) rolled over 4th placed Yulon Luxgen (15-14) 88-56 on Saturday. The game without a history. Taiwan Mobile led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Yulon Luxgen's 30. They outrebounded Yulon Luxgen 55-35 including a 38-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Quite impressive performance for forward Xiao-Rong Chen (197-90) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 12 points and 17 rebounds. Guard Jing-Huan Chen (190-86) contributed with 15 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Five Taiwan Mobile players scored in double figures. Guard Chieh-Min Lin (183-88) answered with 25 points and 6 rebounds and guard Wei-Han Lin (178-90) added 3 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Yulon Luxgen. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Taiwan Mobile maintains sixth place with 12-17 record. Yulon Luxgen lost their third game in a row. They keep the fourth position with 14 games lost. Taiwan Mobile will face higher ranked KKL (#5) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Yulon Luxgen will play against Dacin Tigers and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
