There was a minor upset when 6th ranked Shimane Magic (24-22) was defeated at home by eighth ranked Chiba Jets (17-28) 91-87 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 10 points after three quarters before their 27-13 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Chiba Jets made 20-of-25 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Shimane Magic turnovers. The game was also dominated by American players.
