Regular Season Round 13: Dacin Tigers - Bank of Taiwan 60-79

Very important is a loss of third ranked Dacin Tigers (16-13) against seventh ranked Bank of Taiwan (7-22) on Saturday night. Dacin Tigers were crushed by Bank of Taiwan 79-60. It looked good early as Dacin Tigers took an 1-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Bank of Taiwan had a 23-15 second period charge getting the lead and Dacin Tigers were not able to take back game control losing it eventually 60-79. The former international forward Chih-Chiang Hsu (194-82) stepped up and scored 24 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and international forward Shun-Hsiang Chen (190-85) chipped in 9 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Four Bank of Taiwan players scored in double figures. At the losing side the former international forward Yi-Hui Lin (192-86) responded with 13 points and 6 rebounds and international forward Tse-Wei Chen (200-85) scored 10 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bank of Taiwan maintains seventh place with 7-22 record. Dacin Tigers at the other side keep the third position with 13 games lost. Bank of Taiwan will play against league's leader Pure Youth in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Dacin Tigers will play against Yulon Luxgen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
