The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Boulazac Basket as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Boulazac Basket smashed 17th ranked Quimper UJAP at home 80-56. The game was mostly controlled by Boulazac Basket. Quimper UJAP managed to win third quarter 19-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening.
