Regular Season Round 25: Challes - Tarbes 75-48

Third ranked Challes-les-Eaux (19-6) crushed at home 5th ranked Tarbes (13-12) by 27 points 75-48, which is the biggest margin this round on Saturday night. The game without a history. Challes-les-Eaux led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. American center Mistie Mims (191-83, college: Duke) fired a double-double by scoring 17 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. German forward Romy Bar (189-87) chipped in 13 points and 6 assists. Challes-les-Eaux's coach Aldo Corno felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Canadian forward Lizanne Murphy (185-84, college: Hofstra) produced 18 points and 7 rebounds and American swingman Alex Montgomery (185-89, college: Georgia Tech) added 6 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. Challes-les-Eaux maintains third place with 19-6 record having just two points less than leader Bourges. Loser Tarbes keeps the fifth position with 12 games lost. They share it with Nantes and Landes. Challes-les-Eaux will meet league's leader Bourges on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Tarbes will play against Nantes Reze (#8) and hope to secure a win.
