Ninth-ranked Charleville-Mezieres (11-14) gave a tough game to first ranked Bourges (21-4) on Saturday. The visitors from Bourges managed to secure only three-point victory 77-74. However their fans expected much easier game. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Charleville-Mezieres. The guests trailed by 1 point after three quarters before their 26-22 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Bourges made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Bourges are looking forward to face Challes-les-Eaux (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Charleville-Mezieres will play against Arras (#11) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
