Very important is a loss of second ranked Taiwan Beer (17-12) against sixth ranked Taiwan Mobile (12-17) on Sunday night. Taiwan Beer was defeated by Taiwan Mobile 73-59. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Taiwan Beer. Taiwan Mobile trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 40-24 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Canadian power forward Ryan Wright (206-87, college: Oklahoma) nailed a double-double by scoring 24 points and 19 rebounds for the winning side and guard Jing-Huan Chen (190-86) accounted for 14 points and 9 rebounds. Four Taiwan Mobile players scored in double figures. Guard Yong-Ren Wu (176-82) came up with 6 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Trinidad and Tobago power forward Kibwe Trim (208-84, college: Sacred Heart, agency: Top Notch Sports) added 9 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Taiwan Beer in the defeat. Taiwan Beer's coach Chun-San Chou let to play ten players and allowed the starting five to rest. Taiwan Mobile maintains sixth place with 12-17 record. Loser Taiwan Beer keeps the second position with 12 games lost. Taiwan Mobile will meet higher ranked KKL (#5) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
