Rather predictable result in Tenerife where first ranked Canarias (24-7) beat 5th ranked Lleida Basquet (19-12) 91-77 on Sunday. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when Canarias's pressure prevailed and they won that period 25-13 extending their advantage to 14 points. They made 26-of-30 free shots (86.7 percent) during the game. Lleida Basquet was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Greek forward Fotios Lampropoulos (206-83) fired 15 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. American forward Levi Rost (201-83, college: W.Michigan) chipped in 12 points. Four Canarias players scored in double figures. The former international power forward Alfonso Alzamora (206-79) produced 7 points and 14 rebounds and forward Miguel Feliu (200-85) added 15 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side.
