Regular Season Round 52: Takamatsu FA - Saitama Bron. 78-94

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 9th ranked Takamatsu FA (2-45) lost at home to tenth ranked Saitama Broncos (14-31) 94-78 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Saitama Broncos. Takamatsu FA was better in third quarter 23-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a very good performance for guard Yuki Kitamuki (184-85) who helped to win the game recording 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. American forward Jayme Miller (203-85) contributed with 15 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. American power forward Paul Butorac (208-83, college: E.Washington) replied with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds and STVn center Nyika Williams (203-87, college: Pacific) added 21 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Takamatsu FA. Five Saitama Broncos and four Takamatsu FA players scored in double figures. Saitama Broncos have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to ninth place which they share with defeated Takamatsu FA. Takamatsu FA lost thirteenth consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with 45 games lost. Saitama Broncos will face higher ranked Fukuoka Rizing (#5) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
