There was a small surprise when eighth ranked Ironi Ramat Gan (12-14) defeated on the road 6th ranked Kiryat Tivon (13-13) 88-83. The guests were ahead by 12 points but lost the second period ending it with a 2-point deficit before their 21-14 run, which allowed them to win the game. Ironi Ramat Gan made 17-of-21 charity shots (81.0 percent) during the game. American point guard T.J.
