Leader Asseco Prokom delivered the seventh victory. This time they crushed 6th ranked PGE Turow (2-7) 85-65 in Gdynia. The game without a history. Asseco Prokom led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Asseco Prokom outrebounded PGE Turow 36-23 including a 26-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. International center Adam Hrycaniuk (206-84, college: Cincinnati, agency: Alti Sport) nailed a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side and Lithuanian power forward Donatas Motiejunas (213-90, agency: Interperformances) accounted for 11 points and 9 rebounds. Australian-Dutch center Daniel Kickert (208-83, college: St.Mary's, CA) came up with 11 points and American guard David Jackson (193-86, college: W.Illinois) added 8 points respectively for PGE Turow in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the third consecutive win for Asseco Prokom. Defending champion maintains first place in Group A with 7-2 record. PGE Turow at the other side dropped to the fifth position with seven games lost. Asseco Prokom's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Trefl Sopot on the road and it will be for sure the game of the week. PGE Turow will play against Anwil in Wloclawek and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
