Seventh-ranked Bucaneros (14-16) gave a tough game to fourth ranked Guaiqueries (19-15) in Porlamar. Guaiqueries managed to secure only three-point victory 68-65. However their fans expected easier game. Bucaneros were ahead by 5 points after three quarters before a 18-10 charge of Guaiqueries, which allowed them to win the game. They held Bucaneros to an opponent 0.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 0.0 percent accuracy of the winners.
