The game in Warszawa was also quite interesting. 5th ranked Polpharma (14-22) played at the court of seventh ranked AZS Politechnika Warszawska (11-25). AZS Politechnika Warszawska managed to secure a 5-point victory 88-83 on Wednesday. Polpharma trailed by 12 points after 3 quarters before a 26-19 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 83-88 at the end of the game. Polpharma was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was point guard Lukasz Wilczek (189-86) who scored 14 points and 9 assists. Forward Patryk Pelka (202-89) chipped in 12 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Loser Polpharma keeps the fifth position with 22 games lost. AZS Politechnika Warszawska will face higher ranked Siarka Jezioro (#4) in Tarnobrzeg in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Polpharma will play at home against the league's second-placed AZS Koszalin.
