Finals Game 1: SISU - Horsholm 73-68

SISU surged ahead in the championship series following a home win in the opener. The hosts trailed by 7 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 73-68. SISU dominated on the defensive end, holding Horsholm to just 6 points in second quarter. They also forced 19 Horsholm turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Kiki Lund (177-83, college: Dayton) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. American center Stephanie Madden (185-88, college: Langston) contributed with 16 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Power forward Mathilde Gilling (186-93) answered with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman Mie Burlin (178) added 17 points in the effort for Horsholm. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
