It looked good early as Neftochimic took an 4-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Montana 2003 had a 22-15 second period charge getting the lead and Neftochimic was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 86-87. It was a great evening for the former international guard Ivelina Vrancheva (175-80, agency: Ronsport) who led her team to a victory scoring 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Nadezhda Simeonova (182-83) helped adding 10 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Montana 2003 players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Ukrainian forward Katerina Dorogobuzova (187-90, agency: LBM Management) with 39 points (!!!) (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) and international forward Maria Zhelyazkova (181-86) scored 17 points and 7 rebounds.
