The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Olimpia GrGAU (8-2) on the court of second ranked Minsk-2006 on Wednesday night. Visitors were edged by Minsk-2006 64-61. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Olimpia GrGAU. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. It was a good game for power forward Volha Istseliatsova (189-88) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Naturalized Russian guard Zhanna Horodetskaya (180-79) contributed with 15 points and 4 assists for the winners. Russian-Ukrainian center Lyubov Alyoshkina (203-81) answered with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds and point guard Katsiaryna Kashlei (171-90) added 14 points and 6 assists in the effort for Olimpia GrGAU. Four Olimpia GrGAU players scored in double figures. Olimpia GrGAU's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Minsk-2006 maintains second place with 6-3 record having just three points less than leader BrGU. Olimpia GrGAU at the other side still keeps top position with two games lost.
