Regular Season Round 35: Trotamundos - Panteras 105-90

There was no surprise in Valencia where 9th ranked Panteras (9-24) were defeated by fifth ranked Trotamundos (19-16) 105-90 on Friday. The game without a history. Trotamundos led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They held Panteras to an opponent 0.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 0.0 percent accuracy of the winners. It was a great evening for American power forward Robert Glenn (201-89, college: IUPUI) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. The former international point guard David Cubillan (183-87, college: Marquette) helped adding 21 points and 4 assists. Five Trotamundos players scored in double figures. The former international forward Eduardo Torres (195-81) responded with 20 points and 7 rebounds and American guard R.L. Horton (182-89, college: S.Mississippi) scored 15 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Trotamundos moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Guaiqueries. Loser Panteras keep the ninth position with 24 games lost. Trotamundos will again meet at home Panteras (#9) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Panteras will have a break next round.
