The hosts were already 14 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 26-21 BV Chemnitz 99's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 92-83 at the end of the game. American point guard Gary Johnson (188-82, college: Cent.Florida) replied with 18 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals and point guard Philipp Stachula (185-87) added 17 points (made all of his seven free throws) in the effort for BV Chemnitz 99.
