Akita Happinets managed to secure a 4-point victory 100-96. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 35-25. But Shimane Magic won second period 23-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Akita Happinets won last quarter 25-22. They made 24-of-26 charity shots (92.3 percent) during the game. American swingman Ricky Woods (194-84, college: SE Louisiana) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) for the winners and American-Kittitian forward Kyle Swanston (201-86, college: JMU, agency: SDJ Sports) chipped in 32 points.
