Second Stage Round 8: BBC Nitia - Heffingen 85-70

Very important is a road loss of third ranked Heffingen (3-21) against fourth ranked BBC Nitia (3-21) on Saturday night. Visiting Heffingen was defeated by BBC Nitia in Bettembourg 85-70. The game was mostly controlled by BBC Nitia. Heffingen was better in third quarter 22-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. BBC Nitia players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward William Arre (199-86, college: Lock Haven) who helped to win the game recording a triple-double by scoring 34 points (!!!), 13 rebounds, 13 assists and 10 steals and Latvian power forward Janis Poznaks (202-83) who added 15 points and 14 rebounds during the contest. Canadian forward Billy McNutt (203-85) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks and Portuguese power forward Helder Carvalho (205-84) scored 7 points and 12 rebounds. Heffingen's coach Joao Costa tested twelve players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. BBC Nitia moved-up to third place in League. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
