The game between closely ranked teams ended with second ranked Victoria-UOR's (6-18) road victory over one of their biggest challengers Sozh Gomel (3-21) 68-55 on Saturday. Sozh Gomel was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Victoria-UOR made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 22 Sozh Gomel turnovers and outrebounded them 54-33 including a 18-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Forward Anastasiya Haryna (185-94) had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 14 rebounds (made all of her seven free throws) to lead the charge for the winners and forward Ksenija Voishal (179-94) chipped in 12 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Four Victoria-UOR players scored in double figures. At the losing side center Veronika Sovtsa (183-83) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds and Katsiaryna Nialepka (178-93) scored 11 points and 7 rebounds. Victoria-UOR maintains second position in League with 6-18 record having thirteen points less than leader Olimpia. Loser Sozh Gomel keeps the third place with 21 games lost.
