Rather predictable result when third ranked Perugia (17-17) smashed at home 5th ranked Fabriano (8-26) 87-52 on Sunday. The game without a history. Perugia led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Fabriano to just 6 points in third quarter. Perugia dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Fabriano's 30. They outrebounded Fabriano 37-23 including 25 on the defensive glass. Davide Poltroneri (195-85) scored 28 points to lead the charge for the winners and power forward Filippo Baldi Rossi (207-91) chipped in 13 points and 13 rebounds during the contest.
