No shocking result in a game in Casale where first ranked Montepaschi Siena (19-7) won against bottom-ranked Novipiu CM (6-21) 82-76 on Sunday. Novipiu CM trailed by 11 points after 3 quarters before a 22-17 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 76-82 at the end of the game. Lithuanian center Ksistof Lavrinovic (210-79) stepped up and scored 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and the former international Pietro Aradori (194-88) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds.
