Very important is a loss of second ranked Taiwan Beer (17-13) against fifth ranked KKL (14-16) on Sunday night. Taiwan Beer was crushed by KKL 84-65. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when KKL's pressure prevailed and they won that period 31-16 extending their advantage to 19 points. Swingman Chi-Chao Hung (188-82) notched 25 points and 6 rebounds to lead the effort and center Chun-Wei Lee (199-88) supported him with 20 points and 5 rebounds. Four KKL players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 23 points and 14 rebounds by Trinidad and Tobago power forward Kibwe Trim (208-84, college: Sacred Heart, agency: Top Notch Sports) did not help to save the game for Taiwan Beer. The former international forward Shou-Cheng Ho (196-83) added 12 points for KKL. Taiwan Beer's coach Chun-San Chou rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. KKL maintains fifth position with 14-16 record. Taiwan Beer at the other side keeps the second place with 13 games lost.
